The cloudberry (Rubus chamaemorus), grows to 10-25 cm high. The leaves change between having 5 and 7 soft, handlike lobes on straight, branchless stalks.
Unlike most Rubus species, the cloudberry does not self-pollinate. Pollination requires a plant of the opposite sex.
